Shelley Kay Mobley, 60, passed away on August 7, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on December 12, 1956 to Joe & Viola (Maxine) Wood. She grew up in Yukon, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Yukon High School in 1975 and was active in the First Methodist Church. She earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from St. Anthonys in 1978 and spent the last 35 years dedicated to her career as a nurse. She loved her family, her dog Penny, playing tennis with her girlfriends and taking trips to the beach whenever she had the chance. Shelley was an avid member of the Greens Country Club and could be found there playing tennis on most days.
Shelley is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Jack; daughter, Savannah and fianc Nicholas; mother, Maxine; sister, Janna Alec and husband David; sister in law, Diana; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Wood, mother in law, Pat Mobley and father in law, Jack Eugene Mobley.
A memorial and celebration of Shelleys life will be at Mercer-Adams Chapel, 3925 North Asbury in Bethany, Oklahoma at 11 AM on Saturday, August 12, 2017.
