Shelby Dee Miller, 82, passed away November 7, 2023 in Bethany, OK. She was born July 6, 1941 in Monahans, TX to Charles and Rosemary (Naifeh) McCarty. Shelby worked in the optometry field as a contact lens technician. She enjoyed reading and painting. She was considered feisty and colorful, and liked to share her opinion. Shelby was a good and well-loved friend. She had cousins she was close with, and many friends she'd kept in contact with from Woodward High School. She enjoyed watching OSU football.

Shelby loved big and was fiercely loyal to her family. Her greatest love was for her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Miller; and granddaughter, Lauren Miller.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Solomon; son, Jeff (Marie) Miller; grandchildren, Devon (Tanner) Wohlschlegel, Alex (Chelsea) Solomon, Jillian Miller and Donnie Miller; and great-grandchildren, Maddox and Harlow Wohlschlegel.
