Sadly, we have to say goodbye for now to our beloved, Sharon Kay (Kuykendall) Valadez. Sharon lost her battle to cancer on February 1, 2014 at 1:05 PM. She was born March 24, 1959 to Ruth (Connelly) Kuykendall and Charles David Kuykendall of Oklahoma City. Sharon attended her school years at Oklahoma City and graduated in 1977 from John Marshall High School where she studied in cosmetology, obtained her state board license and started her career as a hairdresser. She married Jeffery Keith Valadez on October 11, 2008. Her father, Charles David Kuykendall, preceded her in death in 1988. Sharon leaves behind her husband, Jeffery, of the home; her mother, Ruth Kuykendall, of Mustang, OK; sister, Ruth Ann Esquivias, brother-in-law, Tom Esquivias, and her niece Alexandria Esquivias, all of Mustang, OK; as well as many loved ones and dear friends. Sharon has requested to be cremated and a celebration of life service will be held on Monday, February 10 at 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany, OK.
