Sharon Kay Mitchell (Warner) peacefully passed on to be with the Lord on December 9, 2019. Sharon is remembered as a selfless, strong and loving wife, mother and sister who always went out of her way to do for others first. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on November 8, 1938 and married Kenneth L. Mitchell, the love of her life, on December 1, 1962. Sharon and Ken moved to Oklahoma in 1976 and settled in Warr Acres to raise their family. Sharon loved watching her favorite sports teams, the Dallas Cowboys, the Chicago Cubs and the Oklahoma City Thunder. She is once again by Kens side and heaven has a new and wonderful Angel. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Sharon was preceded in death by husband, Kenneth and mother, Helen Warner (Jamison). She is survived by siblings, Gerri Peterson and husband Dennis, Charlee Ann Bell, Earl Iseminger Jr.; along with her daughters, Christine Carpenter and husband Kevin with grandson Brian and granddaughter Brooke, Sandy Gatz and husband Tim with grandsons Dillon and Trace and a great granddaughter Kaiya; and one son, Steve Mitchell.
