Sharon
Kemerly
May 28, 1943 — Jul 18, 2024
With her family at her side, Sharon Kay Kemerley, 81, passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on July 18, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born May 28, 1943, to CJ and Norene McClure Hill in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Sharon married Joe Kemerley on March 12, 1976 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Sharon was an outstanding wife, mother, grandmother, and most of all, friend. She enjoyed music, watching movies and sports, especially football, which was her favorite. She also loved spending time outdoors, camping, traveling, and making memories that would be cherished by all. She always had something funny to say, and adored the sound of her family's laughter. What she enjoyed above all else was spending time with loved ones, keeping track of her kids, and making sure her family was always sure of her love for them. Her presence alone was always enough to accomplish this, and will continue to keep them at peace now that she has returned home.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Hill; nephew, Stephen Hill; and great-grandchild; Jude Ivy Thompson.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Kemerley; daughters, Kris Heston and husband Kent of OKC, Kim Ramseyer and husband Scott, of Meeker, OK, Jessica Wells and husband Jason of Bethany, OK; sons, Todd Thompson, of OKC, Mike Thompson and wife Amy, of Bethany, OK.; ten grandchildren, Adam Ramseyer and wife Samantha, Matt Ramseyer and wife Lindsey, Zack Ramseyer and wife Cheyenne, Caylan Thompson, Michael Ann Thompson, Caden Thompson and wife Leighanne, Cole Thompson, Madison Wells, Megan Wells and Ellie Wells; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Rick Hill, of Honolulu, HI; niece, Allison Hill, of Honolulu, HI; great-niece, Sydney Harksjold, of Denver, CO; and sister-in-law, Chuckie Hill, of Oklahoma City.
The family would like to extend tremendous thanks to Apex Hospice for their love, support and guidance during this difficult transition.
