Scott Morgan Karry, 29, of Edmond, OK was born December 3, 1991 to Patrick and Cathy Karry in Oklahoma City, OK. He passed away July 24, 2021. Scott had a larger-than-life personality. He had the ability to captivate a room and fill it with laughter. If a story needed to be told Scott was the person who could bring it to life, along with sound effects and just the right amount of quirkiness to get the job done. His goal was to bring you into the experience with him and most of the time his audiences were happy to comply. A friend is who Scott was to so many people and he was a friend that you would want to have. He would go out of his way to help anyone, especially a friend, but total strangers benefitted from his kindness countless times. As important as friends were to Scott, his family was most important of all. He always wanted to be involved with whatever his family was doing, especially his brothers, Matthew and Joseph. He loved to play video games with his brothers, go to OU football games with his dad and cook with his mom. The annual Spring fishing trip with the Karry men was the highlight of his year and it didnt matter whether the fish were biting or not he just wanted to be with his family. Scott poured himself into all that he did from his daily responsibilities at work to his passions of sports and food. He loved cheering on any sport involving the Oklahoma Sooners (especially football), the Oklahoma City Thunder and creating any new delicacy in the kitchen. Although Scott suffered from addiction the last 10 years of his life he was loved and cherished by his family and friends and will be forever missed. Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Nadine Karry; grandfather, Harry J. Lyons and grandmother, Jane Lyons; and uncle, David F. Lyons. Scott is survived by his parents, Patrick and Cathy Karry; brothers, Matthew Karry and Joseph Karry, all of Edmond, OK; uncle, Robert Karry and his wife Nancy of Del City, OK; aunt, Sue Lyons of Camp Hill, PA; uncle, Doug Lyons and his wife Stacy of Yukon, OK; aunt, Della Murray and her husband Dave of Sacramento, CA; uncle, Michael Karry and his wife Angie of Choctaw, OK; great-aunt, Wanda Heck of Parsons, KS; great-uncle, Paul Cloar and his wife Linda of Oklahoma City, OK; cousins, Drew Lyons and his wife Emily of New Cumberland, PA, Cristin Goss and her husband Derek of Whitehall, PA, Christine Allen and her son Skylar of Sacramento, CA, Nicole Allen and her fianc Scott Hagood of Sacramento, CA, Brad Karry and his fianc Carissa Judge of Choctaw, OK, Bailey Lyons of Yukon, OK, Katherine Watts and her husband of Yukon, OK, Sierra Nguyen and her husband John of Yukon, OK, Samantha Morgan of Yukon, OK; along with many other family members. .
