Sara Leigh Phelps, 58, died October 11, 2016 in OKC. She was born February 7, 1958 to Johnnie and Katie (Clevenger) Phelps. She was raised in Oklahoma City and loved spending time with her family, most of all her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, doing word puzzles, and playing Scrabble. She was a good cook and was considered by her family to be the "Caserole Queen." She enjoyed many summer vacations at Lake Tenkiller and big family get-togethers on the holidays. She retired after 20 years of service as a Heart Monitor Technician at the Veterans Administration Hospital in OKC. She was very close with her cousins, especially Patty who she enjoyed visiting with often. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, but she did not like being confined to a nursing home and is in a much better place now. Sara was preceded in death by her father and step-daughter, Blake Ann Davis. Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Terry Wayne Davis; children, Kevin Groves and wife Simona, Jacob Greggs, Shannon Walter and husband Tim, Shane Davis and wife Sara; siblings, Kathy Dixon and husband John, Jeff Phelps and wife Debbie; grandchildren, Jason, Jonathan, Logan, Lidia, Ethan, Kristian, Katelyn, Aiden; nieces/nephews, Shelly, Luke, Rachel, Daniel; aunt, Joyce Price; cousins, Patty Dailey, Ron and Steve Price, Randy, Darrell and David Parker.
