Sandra (Gerding) Haden, 63, died August 17, 2010. She was born March 4, 1947 in Enid, OK to Thomas and Alice (Lowry) Harrold. She was a special education teacher for the past 13 years at Alcott Middle School in Norman and previously worked 20 years as a dental assistant and office manager for Dr. James A. and Jay Hanks. After her retirement in 2009, she tutored at Madison Elementary School in Norman. She loved life as much as she loved to read and spend time with her family and friends. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald, and first husband, Ross Gerding. She is survived by her husband, Bill; daughters Teresa Gerding and fianc Jason, Lisa Norman and husband Chip; her grandson, Ross Norman, affectionately known as little Ross - the light of her life and the sparkle of her eye; brother Clifford Harrold and wife Diane; sister Teresa Susie Greenlee and husband Allan; step-children Michael Haden and Michelle Stovall; 3 step-grandchildren, Parker, Haden and Taylor; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. The family will greet friends Friday, 7-9pm at Mercer-Adams, Bethany. Services will be Sat., August 21, 10:30am at Forest Hill Christian Church with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
