Samuel Joseph Poletto, 79, of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away January 13th, 2011. Sam was born April 27th, 1931 in Carbondale, PA to Jerome (Girolamo) and Carmela Poletto (Firrigno). He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Joseph Poletto, and sisters, Minnie Scalzo and Rose Maida. Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Glenda Louise Poletto; son, Christopher Jerome Poletto; brother, Louis Poletto; sister, Francis Naticek; and many nieces and nephews. Although Sam grew up in PA, he made his life in OKC, where he was a manager/buyer of ladies' shoes for John A Brown and Rothschild's. A private family memorial service was held in his beloved garden on Jan. 16.
