Sally L. Wells went to be with the Lord on Sunday August 30, 2015 after a long, hard fight with pancreatic cancer. She was born April 25, 1943 in Osceola, MO to Samuel and Nellie Webb. She retired as payroll supervisor with Gulfstream Aerospace of Bethany, Oklahoma. Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Wells, parents, brothers, Kenny Webb, Robert Eugene Webb and Samuel Webb, and sister, Peggy Thomas. Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Deese and wife Laurie, Anthony Deese, all of OKC; daughter-in-law, Joyce Deese; sister, JoAnn Trussell; grandchildren, Bethany Tyler, Maegan Case, Brittany Deese and Kaelan Deese; and great-grandchildren, Grayson Tyler, Jude Tyler and Jet Tyler. She would also want us to recognize her beloved nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly ~ all too many to name here but they know who they are and that she loved them. The family wants you all to know that Sally would not want this day to be a sad day, but rather a happy day. A day to celebrate her life here on earth and to rejoice that she is now getting to reunite with all the loved ones who have gone before her. She would also want each person here today to plan on seeing her again in Heaven. Sally loved life and loved people and it showed in everything she did. Those that knew her well know that she always had a smile for them and a hug. The ChapStick that is in the basket at the entrance is a keepsake to remind you of her in the days to come. Those of you who knew her well know that she hated dry lips and always had her ChapStick or lipstick with her everywhere she went. Please take one with you and remember her when you use it. Services to celebrate her life will be Thursday, September 3, 10:30am at NewChurch with interment following in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
