Salenea Joy North was born April 1st, 1972 in Hyden, Kentucky. She was born to father, Charles North and mother, Athelene Wilson-Walters. Salenea was a devoted mother, daughter, and sister. Salenea enjoyed drawing, collecting anything she could get her hands on, and her children. Salenea went to school for hair and nails and had her CNA license. Her right hand was her dog, Charlie, who followed her everywhere. Salenea was preceded in death by her father, Charles North; stepfather, Darryl Walters; brother; Justin Keith and sisters, Norma Jean and Molly Ann. She is survived by her children, Cheyenne Nguyen, Taner Nguyen, Quintton North, and Jaden Walters; siblings, Bryan North, Shannon North and Toni Sanchez. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Claud and Betty Cypert. Viewing will be Monday, 5-8pm, with family present from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Tuesday, May 16, 12:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Pastor Brent Hardesty from Bethany First Church of the Nazarene will be conducting service, with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. .
