Ruth Norell, age 87, of Bethany, Oklahoma, died Sunday, February 1, 2009 at the Grace Living Center in Bethany, Oklahoma. Norell was employed by Southern Nazarene University and was a member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene. She was the daughter of the late Oscar Newberry and the late Edith Newberry. Ruth is survived by two sisters, Emma and Dorothy; stepchildren John, Martha and Mary Norell; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Arrangements are being handled by Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, OK. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany, Oklahoma.
