Ruth Belle Hamilton, 90, passed away March 19, 2010. She was born June 16, 1919 in Asher, Oklahoma to Steven and Carrie (Simpson) Farmer. She married Edgar Hamilton on December 25, 1940. They enjoyed 69 wonderful years together. A member of Linwood United Methodist Church, she worked many years for Sears before retiring in 1984. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Arch and Bill Farmer, and sister Anna Nichols, she is survived by her husband, E.W. Hamilton; daughters Glenita Schick and husband Clifford, Karon Grelle and husband Paul, Sharon Marine; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be Wednesday, March 24, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
