Ruth Marie Bergman was born May 28, 1921 to Otto and Anna Schein in Richland, Oklahoma. Ruth went to be with her Heavenly Father December 18, 2009. She graduated from Yukon High School. She was married to Erwin Bergie Bergman for 32 years. They were active members of 1st United Methodist Church of Oklahoma City. They enjoyed their many friends, especially those in the Ball n Chain Club. Ruth was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority and Christian Womens Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin Bergman; her brothers, Walter, Edward, Edwin, Ernest, Melvin and Clarence Schein; and her grandson, Sean Dominic Garcia. She is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Johnson, Oklahoma City, and Dianne Garcia and her husband, Jim, San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren, Vaughn and Alana Marie Johnson, and Michaela Garcia; her sister, Doris Kemp, of California; her niece, Mary Culver, who helped care for her the past few years; and many other family and friends. Memorial Service and a celebration of her life will be Wednesday, December 30, 4:00 p.m. at Mercer Adams Chapel in Bethany.
