Ruth Elaine Banning, 90, passed away March 20, 2016. She was born October 19, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA to Herman and Edna (Heiser) Snyder. She married Robert Banning, August 30, 1947, in Haddenfield, NJ. She was a career missionary in the Philippines, retiring in 1990. Elaine was known for wheeling around Quail Creek Nursing Home and praying for everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert Banning. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Beth Banning; sons, Michael, Steven, David and Darrell Banning; and grandchildren, Brice, Jason and Nathan. Services will be Tuesday, March 22, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
