Oma Ruth Baker, 81, died November 10, 2014 in OKC. She was born July 29, 1933 in Courtney, OK to William and Annie (Sullivan) Sims. She married Howard Baker on September 6, 1974 in TX. She was a longtime member of Mayfair Baptist Church, serving as Church Librarian. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, and daughter, Cheryl Lynn Baker. Survivors include her husband, Howard; 3 step-daughters, Rebecca Jones and husband Greg of Paris, TX, Laura Vongchanyakul and husband Vanchai of Norman, OK, and Janet Moat and husband Chris of Layton, UT; 11 step-grandchildren and 19 step-great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Friday, 9am-9pm, at Mercer-Adams. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 15, 11:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
