Ruth Jeanette Albrecht, lovingly known as Jan, was born on April 30, 1937 and departed June 29, 2014. She was born in Wichita, KS but later moved to Oklahoma. There, she met her first husband, Jerry Morris, and they had two children, Bonnie and Chuck. After separating, she then met Robert, lovingly known as Bob, and his two sons, Phil and Dee. Together, the two of them had Robynn, the youngest of the five children. At the time of her passing, Jan, with Bob, owned and operated a small bookstore in Bethany, OK called B&J Books. Jan's love of literature was no surprise to loved ones she surrounded herself with. She is joined in passing by her mother, Helen Brake, sister, Yvonne Cranford, and daughter, Bonnie Morris. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bob Albrecht; four children, Chuck Morris and wife Bin Bin, Phil Albrecht and wife Debbie, Dee Albrecht and wife Dierdre, and Robynn Croley and husband Tim; 9 grandchildren, Ashley, Cody and Bee Morris, Jonathon and wife Tiffany and Katie Croley, Clay and Abigail Albrecht, and Tyler Miller; 5 great-grandchildren; 9 nieces and nephews, and many other loving friends and family members. Her infectious laugh and warm hugs will be greatly missed but her memory and compassion stay with us. Memorial services will be Thursday, July 3, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
