Ruby Wilkey, beloved wife and mother, passed away at the age of 82 on July 16, 2026, in Oklahoma City, OK surrounded by her family. She was born on August 9, 1943, in Stroud, OK, to Orville 'John' and Gracie Wiseman. Ruby Wiseman married Gene Wilkey in 1964.

Ruby is survived by her husband, Gene; her daughter, Dayna Woodall & husband Rex; her son, Mark Wilkey & wife Lisa; grandchildren Lydia Hedrick & husband Ryan, Tyler Ray & wife Taylor, and Payton Wilkey & fiancée Nick; great grandchildren Ainslee, Kaden, Grayson, and Kennedy; her brother Carl Wiseman and sister Carol Cathey & husband Freddie, and other extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Gloria Johnson.

Ruby's greatest joys in life came from her family. She was often found in the kitchen cooking up wonderful meals and special desserts around the holidays. Always a hard worker, Ruby worked at Klee's then retired from R.K. Black after providing many years of caring customer service. For fun, Ruby loved to go dancing in her younger years. Later, she played softball, volleyball and golf. She and her family were an integral part of Northside Ballpark. Ruby and Gene were active members of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, the F.O.O.L.'s group, and the Central Oklahoma Corvette Club.

Visitation, with family present, will be held Sunday from 3:00–5:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. A celebration of Ruby's life will be held Monday, July 20, at 3:00 p.m., at St. Mark's Methodist Church, 8140 NW 36th Street in Bethany, OK.
