Ruby Joyce Reynolds, 86, of Bethany, OK, passed away January 29, 2015 in Oklahoma City. She was born on August 18, 1928. She graduated from Howard Payne College with her Bachelor's degree in Education. Ruby was a 44 year member of Council Road Baptist Church. She was proud to serve as a Sunday School Teacher from the age of 13 to 85. She enjoyed all the ladies that were in her "Ruby's Gems" class. Ruby served the Lord and the church proudly. Other enjoyments in her life was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Nellie Halfin, two sisters, Georgie Hughes and Wanda Russell, and three brothers, Mickey Halfin, Preston Halfin, and Donald Halfin. Survivors include her two daughters, Cindy Honeycutt and husband Dwayne, Denise Brogden and husband Gray, and her son, Rick Reynolds and wife Bambi; six grandchildren, Buddy Honeycutt, Melissa Romero, Katelynn Camp, Tanner Brogden, Jack Reynolds and Nicole Brogden; 8 great grandchildren, Marcus, Justin, Shelby, Alondra, Alexander, Alyssia, Lillian and Violet; and loving family and friends. Visitation will be 11am-9pm on Sunday, February 1 with the family present from 1pm-4pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service. Services will be Monday, February 2 at 10am at Council Road Baptist Church, 2900 North Council Road, Bethany, OK 73008 with burial to follow in Bethany Cemetery.
