Rev. Roy Terrance Jr. (Terry) Poole, 77, of Oklahoma City went home to meet the Lord on February 28, 2019. He was born on April 26, 1941 to Roy T. and Faye Poole of Austin, TX. He was a great pastor, loved by all who knew him, a man of unfailing faith. Terry was like a Barnabas in the New Testament who was described as a good man full of faith and Holy Ghost and because of him, many people were added to the Kingdom of God. Terry attended Bethany Nazarene College in Bethany, OK. His favorite activities included golfing with friends, fishing off the boat slip at Lake Hefner, and gardening. He was a wonderful barber and owner of Virtual Reality Hair Restoration, a family business. His previous shop in the 1970s was known as Bob and Terrys Style Shop in Bethany, OK. Rev. Poole is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, Randy Lynn Poole and wife, Shirley, and Steven Ray Poole; sister, Sharon Rollins; grandson, Randy Ray Poole; granddaughter, Lourie Ann Ward and husband, Nicholas; and great-grandson, Wyatt Ward. Rev. Poole was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife of 57 years, Rose; and sister, Charlsa Golden, who followed Terry in death within 19 days. Memorial services for Rosemarie and Terry will be held at 10:00am Saturday, April 6 at Bethany First Nazarene Church. Donations in his memory may be sent to Abundant Life Fellowship, 4620 N.
