There is joy and celebration as Roy Allen Martin entered heaven peacefully on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. Allen was born on December 22, 1943 in Walters, Oklahoma to Roy C. Martin and Jean (Wallace) Martin.
Allen graduated from Lawton High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from The University of Oklahoma in 1967. He was in R.O.T.C in college and was commissioned as an officer in the Army Medical Service Corps after graduation. He was a licensed Pharmacist in both the military and in private business. He was in the military for 28 years and proudly served in the Gulf War. He retired in December 2003 as a Lieutenant Colonel.
He was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and attended the Faith Builders Sunday School Class. He was a member of Kiwanis of Mustang and an avid Oklahoma Sooners fan and football season ticket holder for many years.
He married the love of his life, Patsy Ruth Rohrer-Martin, on October 15, 1994, and celebrated 26 years of marriage.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Patsy, of the home; his sons, Curt Martin (Cathy) of Dallas, Texas, and Jay Martin of Lawton, Oklahoma; daughter, Christin Setzer of Lawton, Oklahoma; step-sons, Dean Sisco (Helen) of Jones, Oklahoma, and Craig Sisco (Gina) of Jones, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Shiane, Cathryn, Melinda, Tyler, Mary Claire, Elizabeth; step-grandchildren, Ambra, Ryan, Dustin, Camron, Kory, Keili; two great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and sister, Carolyn Harper (Paul) of South Carolina.
Allen is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and co-workers. The memories of Allen will always bring a smile and stay in our hearts forever.

The funeral will be held at Southern Hills Baptist Church chapel, 8601 S. Pennsylvania, Oklahoma City at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 18. A graveside service with full military honors will follow at Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery, 14300 N. County Line Road, Oklahoma City.
