Roy Dean Liebman, 91, of Bethany, OK passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018. Roy was the son of Arch Arthur Liebman (d.1985) and Bessie (Lane) Levescy (d. 1977) and was born in Oilton, Oklahoma on July 1, 1927. He worked for over 30 years at Childrens Memorial Hospital as Chief Orthopedic Technician. One of the highlights of his career was being part of the team that performed the limb reattachment of an Oklahoma State University basketball player. He met his wife, Vanettia Louise "Terry" Liebman (d. 2016), while dragging Main Street in Bethany. He invited her for a cup of hot chocolate at Marshas Drive Inn and just nineteen days later, they were married on April 3, 1954. They celebrated 62 years of marriage at the time of his wifes departure from this earth. They had two children, David Jon Liebman (d.1987) and Tiffani (Liebman) Patrick. Roy is survived by his daughter Tiffani and her husband David Patrick of Edmond, OK and their three children Ryan, Mollie and Brady. He is survived by several nieces and nephews: Wade Roquemore of TX, James Terry of White Settlement, TX, Melody Ware of TX, Mark Ware of TX, Nancy (Liebman) Davenport of Newcastle, OK, Teresa Evans of Midlothian, TX, Darla Roper of Houston, TX, Tasha (Terry) Preston of Ardmore, OK, and Amber (Terry) Farris of Ft. Worth, TX. The viewing will be held Monday, November 5 from 9am to 9pm at the Mercer-Adams Funeral Home in Bethany. Family will be in attendance from 6-8 p.m. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 6 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethany Cemetery.
