Roy Milton Cox, 62, died February 16, 2022 in Oklahoma City. He was born May 1, 1959 in Independence, Missouri to Ora and Evelyn Cox. Roy attended Memorial High School in Joplin. Roys career was in the food service industry. He loved working with food and was creative and intuitive, coming up with numerous new menu items wherever he worked. He was the District Manager for City Bites for over 20 years. He gave everything to his job, and he loved the people he worked with. He loved his family, his dogs, and his work. He enjoyed 4-wheeling and fishing. A great cook, he loved to watch the Food Network. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Ora and Evelyn, and sister, Lavon Cox. Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Brown and husband David of Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri; son, Travis Cox and wife Rachel of Oklahoma City; sister, Sue Ruth of El Dorado Springs, Missouri; 6 grandchildren, Tanner, Derek, Skylee, Madison, Orion, and Atlas; along with numerous other relatives.
