In Loving Memory of
ROSEMARIE ALVAREZ
Born 11 April 1943
Schwabish Hall, Germany
Daughter of Karl Heinrich Hofmann & Emilie Edelmann
Died 4 Dec 2010
Oklahoma City, OK
Rosemarie was born and raised in Germany. She married her husband of 46 years on October 13, 1964, devoted the majority of her adult life to raising her three successful children, and was a military spouse and a dedicated wife. She moved to Oklahoma in 1964 and retired in Oklahoma City after working for Sears for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Angel R. Alvarez; daughter, Isabella M. Alvarez of Midwest City; son, Angel M. and wife, Christina of Oklahoma City; son, Charles R. and wife, Shelley of Yukon; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. There will be an immeasurable void in our family. To the best cook in the world (we will never again eat schnitzel with wine sauce or the schweinebraten like she made), to the most opinionated, giving and truly classy (yet awesomely blunt) German woman, we will miss you, "Oma." A memorial celebrating her life will be held at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home, Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 2:00 pm through 3:30 pm. Flowers may be sent to Mercer-Adams, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, OK 73008. Alternatively, memorial contributions may be sent to the Red Andrews Foundation or to a hospice of your choice.
