We will celebrate the life of Roseanna Parker at 10:00am on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany, OK. Roseanna departed this life Sunday, April 6, 2014 surrounded by family and friends. Roseanna was born May 12, 1933 in Moscow, Kansas to Robert "Bob" and Sadie Parker. After graduating from Sylvia High School, she attended college at Bethany-Peniel. Roseanna was a homebuilder and retired from the Hertz Corporation. Roseanna was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bob, Kenneth and Richard Parker; and granddaughter, Robyn Stephens. Roseanna is survived by a brother, Cairol Parker of Santa Fe, NM; three daughters, Rochelle Sinclair and husband Ray of Yukon, Roxanna Awopeju of OKC, and Ronna Stephens and husband Phil of Haslet, TX; grandchildren, Tisha Aldridge and husband Ronnie, Susannah Awopeju, Nathan Awopeju and wife Liz, Nicholas Awopeju, Rachel, Robert and Ryan Stephens; and great-grandchildren, Ashton and Griffin Aldridge, and Jeremiah Awopeju. She also has an adopted son, Khalid Jinini and family of Amman, Jordan; along with a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. Roseanna loved life! She was quite an entertainer, cook and baker. She was especially known for her outstanding desserts! If you left her house hungry, that was your fault! She was "Mom" to so many who looked up to her. We will miss her beauty, charm, and all round zest. Mom, sister, daughter, grandma, nana, ger ger; whatever name you called her, she was always known as "friend."
