Rose Ellen Brewer, 82, died June 17, 2011 in OKC. She was born Feb. 9, 1929 in Piedmont, OK, the daughter of Guy Evert and Grace (Clayton) Pruett. She was a 1947 graduate of Piedmont High School. On Oct. 2, 1947 she married Buddy C. Brewer in El Reno, OK. She was the owner of Warr Acres Tag Agency and served on the board of directors of a local bank. She was preceded in death by a brother, Guy Earl Pruett, and a granddaughter, Kimberly Woolf. She is survived by her husband, Buddy; a son, Charles and wife Nancy of Piedmont, OK; two daughters, Connie Childers of Moore, OK, and Dianna Beal and husband Glenn of Carney, OK; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. A brother, Raymond Pruett of Piedmont and sister, Rita Martin also of Piedmont. Viewing will be from 11 am 9 pm Sunday at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, with family present from 2 pm 4 pm. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Monday, June 20, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Bethany with interment following in the Kansas Cemetery in Piedmont, OK.
