Ronald "Ron" Bruce McClure, 58, joined his wife, Cindy, in heaven on December 14, 2012. They were apart for 3 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmond and Wanda McClure, who owned McClure's Flowers since 1966. He graduated from Putnam City West High School in 1975. He worked with his family at McClure's Flowers since 1966 and also at the Metro Co-op for 15 years. He loved his wife, Cindy, so much that he married her on his birthday in 1980. His favorite night of the week for many years was Friday night, spent at the Fairgrounds Dirt Track eating "dirt burgers" and having warm drinks with friends and racers. He was an avid NASCAR fan enjoying Saturday and Sunday races on TV. He is survived by his stepdaughter, Candy Keehn and husband Jason; granddaughters, Jaydee Keehn and Millie Dugan; sister, Linda Moon and husband Paul; niece, Dori Simpson; nephews, Mike and Mitchell Moon and Casey, Corey and Carey Campbell. A graveside service will be held at Bethany Cemetery at 10am on Friday, December 21, followed by a memorial service at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service at 1pm.
