Ronald Gene Benear, 62, died April 10, 2014. He was born May 2, 1951 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Roy and Stella (Mohling) Benear. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He loved electronics and worked as an Electrical Engineer doing heavy equipment electrical design. His hobbies included camping, fishing and gardening ~ anything outdoors ~ and he looked forward to spring time to plant his flowers. He was a Boy Scout leader for ten years during the time his son, Eric, earned his Eagle Scout award. Ronald was preceded in death by his sister, Darla Lock. Survivors include his parents, Roy and Stella Benear; son, Eric Benear; sisters, Teresa Randall and Elsie Lucas; and brother, Roy Lee.
