Roger Dale Mariman, Sr. went to be with our Lord on Jan. 22, 2011 after a long struggle with illness. He was born Aug. 28, 1941, in Texas, son of Frank and Amelia Mariman and moved to OKC at an early age. He graduated from Central H.S. in 1959 and joined the US Marines. He proudly served as a para-trooper in the First Force Recon Division. He served on the OKC Airport Police Dept. and then worked at Wonder Bread for over thirty years before retiring. He was preceded in death by sisters, Pat Long and Sandy Smith; brother, Terry Mariman; and his only son, Roger Dale Mariman, Jr. He leaves behind his wife, Linda; daughter, Elizabeth; grand-daughter, Emily; and sister, Carolyn Nazarali; all of whom love and miss him. Viewing will be at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service 8am-9pm Wednesday, Jan. 26. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment following at Pleasant Valley cemetery in Wheatland, OK.
