Roger "Karl" Jackson found peace with his Lord on April 11, 2019. He was born in Rocky, OK to Roger B. and Susu Pauline Jackson. After graduation from Rocky High School, Karl attended Oklahoma City University. Soon after graduation he went to work at Tinker Air Force Base where he worked with NATOs Aircraft Program. After retiring, Karls joys included spending family time with his parents, sister Paula and her family, food and fun with friends and cheering on his beloved OU Sooners. Later, "Rumbling" for the Thunder became quite a passion for Karl.
He loved his travels as well; Saudi Arabia, Australia, New Zealand, New Orleans.. He had friends everywhere. Karl had a network of friends he loved dearly and who were so at ease at his home. "Sweet, sweet man" and "Kindest man I ever knew" and "Never met a stranger." Karl was always there to lend a hand in any way he could.
Karl is survived by his niece, Jonna Lynne Cassil and husband Ken (OKC), his nephew, Paul "Marc" Goode, Jr. and wife Rachel (Seattle, WA), namesake grand-nephew, Christopher "Jackson" Cassil and grand-nephew, Robert A. Manchester, IV. Many, many close friends will remember what a wonderful person Karl is.
