Roger Mark Burton, 59, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed from this earth on November 27, 2020. Roger was a graduate of Northwest Classen. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from Central State University, in Edmond, Oklahoma. After a long career in banking, he retired from Arvest Bank and continued to work as a banking consultant. He enjoyed traveling, gardening and fly fishing. Roger enjoyed the arts and music. He had an eclectic taste for art, as was evident by his many one-of-a-kind pieces. Roger blessed many people with his musical talent, sharing in many family and friends celebrations. He had a big heart for his family, especially his "nieces and nephews" and was affectionately known as "Uncle Roger" to many. He never met a stranger and made everyone feel like family. He loved to make people laugh and taught many out of towners the meaning of "Bless your heart". Roger loved the finer things in life and has single handedly kept Tommy Bahama in business. He has touched so many lives and will be deeply missed. Fins up! A viewing will be held at Mercer Adams Funeral Service in Bethany, Oklahoma on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, from noon to 9:00 pm with family present from 4-8pm. Services will be held at Mercer-Adams Chapel on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at 10:00 am and a graveside service will be held at 11:30 am at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
