Rodney Gene Harrison of Oklahoma City passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 68 on December 26, 2017. He was born October 30, 1949 to Pete and Jerri Harrison in Los Angeles, CA and moved to OKC in 1950. Rod was a home builder and ran Imperial Homes with his dad before starting a career with SWACO Geolograph. Rod met the love of his life, Colleen, in 1974 and they were married March 12, 1976. After years of marriage they had their one and only son, Ryan in 1989. Rod had many hobbies and interests, including amateur radio, hunting & fishing, woodworking & watching or reading anything about space. He was also an avid fan of Oklahoma football & Thunder basketball. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as many aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Colleen, of 41 years, their son, Ryan and countless family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at The Lakes Nursing Center for all their excellent care.
