Robert Sloat, age 81, passed away on January 3, 2024. He was born to Elmer and Lorraine Sloat, who preceded him in death.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sharon; daughter, Jana Culpepper and husband Taylor; son, Michael Sloat and wife Kara; five grandchildren, Kiley Murray and husband Shaun, Kaitlyn Culpepper, Keegan Culpepper, Brandon Sloat, and Brady Sloat; and two great-granddaughters, Harper Simco and Hudson Simco. Robert is also survived by his brother, Kenneth Sloat; sisters, Nancy Roberson and Louise Schlott; and many other family members.

Robert will be greatly missed, and his memory will forever be in our hearts. Thank you for all the laughter and tears we shared together.

A visitation with family present will be held on Saturday, January 6 from 11am-1pm with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery.
