Robert Wayne Rains, 53, of Piedmont, OK, passed away at his home on June 15, 2014. He was born September 17, 1960 to Delbert and Carlene Rains. He graduated from Yukon High School and attended Canadian Valley Vo-Tech in El Reno. Rob worked 29 years for Cameron International. He married Sheryl Mercer on December 12, 2012. Rob was preceded in death by his mother, Carlene and brother, Carl. Survivors include his wife, Sheryl Mercer-Rains; son, Michael Rains; daughter, Heather Rains; step-daughters, Heather Bollenbach and Chelsea Lewis; father and step-mother, Delbert and Sandy Rains; brother, Tim Rains and wife Krysta; grandchildren, Carly Rains, Hanna, Madison, Haden and Kynlie Bollenbach, Robert Cameron Lewis III; and nieces, Madyson, Alyssa and Lacelyn Rains. Services will be held at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany, OK on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 10:00am. Burial will follow in the Kingfisher Memorial Cemetery in Kingfisher, OK.
