Robert Earl Morse passed away at the age of 88 on March 31, 2014. Bob was born December 8, 1925 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to parents, Earl and Catherine (Key) Morse. Bob grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Central High School. He served in the South Pacific with the US Navy during WWII. After leaving college, he worked for OG&E and later worked as an electronics engineer for F.A.A., retiring in 1987 after 32 years of federal service. He was a licensed commercial pilot and active in amateur radio since 1951. He was a member of Cherokee Hills Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Jewell; son, Roger Morse and wife Nadine of Reynoldsburg, OH; 2 granddaughters, Mindee and Julie Morse of Ft. Worth, TX. Viewing will be Thursday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 4, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
