Miller, Robert Lee, 86, of Bethany, OK, beloved husband of 62 years, father, grandfather and friend, was called to his heavenly home on January 3, 2011. He was born July 22, 1924, in Geary, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arley Ivan Miller and Iva Dunham Miller; 1 daughter, VickiAnn Miller; 1 brother, Ralph E. Miller; and 2 sisters, Dorothy E. McCoy and Opal Buser. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Mae (Hyde) Miller; 1 son, Rex Lee Miller and wife Lynn; 2 grandsons, Robert Andrew Miller and Michael Lee Miller and wife Amber; 1 step-granddaughter, Chloe Lauderdale; 1 great-grandson, Alexander Drake Countryman; 1 great-granddaughter, Hannah Lee Miller; 2 sisters, Ruby Paulk of Yukon, OK, Mary Bradford and husband Tommy of Cerritos, CA; 1 brother, Wayne Miller and wife Carol of Geary, OK; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Robert was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church of Western Oaks, Bethany, OK, and a retired employee of Hunzicker Brothers Electric where he worked for 39 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Italy in WWII. He was a qualified rifle marksman. He had a love for his Lord and his family. He was an avid horseman who enjoyed riding and attending horse shows across Oklahoma and the U.S. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, always ready to lend a helping hand. His honesty, courage and devotion to his family and friends will always be remembered. He always tried to live his life by the golden rule and treated all people with courtesy and respect. Viewing will be Friday, 9am-9pm with the family receiving visitors from 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. Funeral services will be Sat., Jan 8, 1:00pm at Maranatha Baptist Church of Western Oaks, Bethany, OK with interment in Geary Cemetery, Geary, OK.
