Robert G. McMullen, 89, of Bethany, OK went to his home in heaven on July 24, 2017, with his family by his side. He was born in Minco, OK on July 9, 1928. Robert married Eileen on June 14, 1953. They were married 64 years. He served in the Service Battery 158th FHBN of the 45th Infantry Division. Robert worked as an aircraft refueling operator for 48+ years at Tinker AFB. He also belonged to the Masonic Siloam Lodge. Robert is survived by wife, Eileen, of the home; children, Glenda and Stan Compton, Roy and Terry McMullen; grandchildren, James and Christina Compton; great-grandchildren, Marley, Justin, William, Samuel, Benjamin and Lillian. He is also survived by two sisters, Lois Farmer and Louise Edgmon; one brother, Ernest McMullen; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Lola McMullen; one brother, Earl McMullen, two sisters, Eileen Girard and Edith Craig; and grandson, Jeremy McMullen. The family would like to thank Terri McNeill for her care and devotion in Papas last months. Funeral will be held on Thursday, July 27, 10:00am at New Hope United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City.
