Robert L. Lee was called by many names throughout his life, but the one he cherished most was heard April 17, 2013 at 5AM, as Heaven rejoiced his arrival, "good and faithful servant." "Dr. Bob", as he was fondly called by most who knew him, served his Savior as a deacon at the Northwest Baptist Church in Oklahoma City for many years. He practiced dentistry (usually getting it right) for 40 years across from Shepard Mall on 23rd Street. He and his wife, Dorothy, celebrated 50 years of marriage in June, 2007, before she went to be with Jesus in May, 2008. During her last years, DaddyBob (the name his children called him), was an amazing and patient care-taker for the love of his life. Bob gave his children an earthly example of the Heavenly Father's love and grace. The delight of his later years, were his grandchildren who called him PapaBob. He was always fascinated by the clarity and light in the eyes of children. Those that knew Dr. Bob, say he was a delightful, kind, out-going, and funny guy. Even in his final season, he made jokes of offering free root canals to those that cared for him at his residence. Dr. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Grace Lee, his brother, Jerry Lee, and his wife, Dorothy Lee. He is survived by his daughter, Cindi Lee, his son, James Lee, daughter-in-love, Dawnita Lee, granddaughter, Charity Fike with husband Anthony, grandson, Joshua Lee, great-granddaughter, Juliee Fike, and K-9, Bailey. Services will be Saturday, April 20, 10:00am at Northwest Baptist Church with interment in Chapel Hill.
