Gibson, Dr. Robert A., born November 25, 1925 to Dr. Calvin and Louise Gibson. Dr. Gibson went to be with the Lord November 30, 2009. He graduated from Classen High School, was a Navy veteran, and practiced podiatry for over 40 years. He was an active member of Village Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and son Robby. He is survived by his loving wife, Clara; daughter, Sandy Coy and husband Terry, Ft. Worth, Texas; son Charles, Las Vegas, Nevada; granddaughter Lindsey Durham and husband Charlie; great granddaughters Kennedy and Landrie; granddaughter Meagan Wells and husband Patrick; brother Col. Hal Gibson and wife Marie, Melbourne, Florida; step brother, Bill Shirley, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, OK; and numerous cousins and many friends. The family will greet visitors Tuesday, 5-7pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Village Baptist Church followed by interment int Rose Hill Burial Park.
