Robert Louis "Bob" Chavez, 83, went to Heaven September 5, 2021 in OKC. He was the oldest of ten children born to Luis and Ola Mae (Yancey) Chavez. He worked as a fabricator at W&W Steel. He was a longtime member and deacon at Northwest Baptist Church. He served wherever needed, most recently with the Hispanic Ministry. He also served in the Oklahoma Jail and Prison Ministry where he led many to the Lord. He loved his Lord Jesus, his family, and his church. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Kelley; daughter, Cindy (Chavez) Foltz; grandchildren, Riley Hancock and wife Caitlin, and Madeline Bray and husband Sam; 2 sisters, Jane Endsley and Patsy Fisher and husband Henry; and his precious dog, Sadie. In the last several years she brought Bob so much comfort and joy. Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, September 15, 1:00pm at Northwest Baptist Church.
