Rick was born to Bennie A. and Kathleen Wathor. He grew up and attended school in Newkirk, OK. Rick enlisted in the US Army and was assigned to the Tank Division stationed in Germany for three years. Upon Honorable Discharge from the service, Rick moved to Oklahoma City where he met his wife, Shari, of 23 years. Shari preceded him in death on February 2, 1994. To this union were born two sons, Doug and Derek. Rick worked in construction - commercial/residential remodeling and custom cabinetry until ill health forced his early retirement. Immediate survivors include son Doug, his wife Shannon and grandson Nick of Bethany, and son Derek of Moore; his sister, Christi Wood and husband of Yukon; brother, Curt and wife of Peculiar, MO; numerous nieces/nephews, extended family and friends. Rick was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Margaret Savoie and Julia Baker. The services will be held at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church at 1:30 P.M.
