Obituary

Richard Price, 77, of Oklahoma City, went to Glory on Feb. 2, 2013. He was born to Benny and Eunice Price on Nov. 24, 1935. He grew up in Oklahoma City, and went to Capitol Hill High School. He met his future wife, Latane, during High School and they married in 1953. He was in the Navy Reserve for 8 years. He retired from Xerox in 1987 and was currently working at Mardels. He was a Sunday School teacher for 35 years. He supported the Navigators Ministry in the United States and abroad. His support also included missionary trips to The Phillipines, Russia, and Kenya. His acquaintances and fellow servers also included missionaries in South America and college campuses in Oklahoma. He loved the Lord with a passion and loved to tell people about God's love. "Well done good and faithful servant!" Matt 25:23 He was preceded in death my his two sons, Matthew & Benjie. He is survived by his wife, Latane; their daughter, Amanda; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, February 5, at First Southern Baptist Church, 202 E. Noble, Guthrie, OK.
