Rhonda Wanell Olson-Martinez was born August 21, 1965 to Robert W. and Janice L. Olson in Moorehead, MN. She passed from this life on May 15, 2012 at the age of 46. In her young life, she and her family traveled a lot, not settling down to one place until her high school years where she graduated from Angleton High School in 1983. Soon after graduation, she married Juvencio (Vince) Martinez and together they had two children, Zach and Natalie Martinez. Rhonda remained in the home while her children grew up and provided them an education through homeschool. Later, she worked for Hemispheres in housekeeping and was promoted to sales where she exemplified her sales skills. She returned to school, graduating from Francis Tuttle with certification in Medical Administration in 2009 and later returned for Accounting in 2010. She was employed by The Children's Center for a brief time when her cancer returned. Her heart was and always will be for the children there. She loved TCC and it showed on her face when she spoke of the children. One could see the same thing every time she talked about the LORD. Her life was a witness for the love she had for HIM! Rhonda traveled a long road with cancer with no complaint. She journeyed long and hard and one would always see her smiling even through the worst of times. She showed us courage, bravery, hope, peace, endurance, a never-quit attitude and, above all, the love of GOD! She will be deeply missed; however, Heaven now sounds sweeter knowing she is there! She was preceded in death by her husband, Juvencio (Vince) Martinez, son, Isaiah Paul Martinez, and grandparents, Olson and Cunningham. She is survived by her beloved, Bruce Baggenstoss; son, Zach Martinez; daughter Natalie Curtis and husband Derek; parents, Bob and Jan Olson; brother, Robbie Olson and his son, Blake; brother, Rodney Olson and wife Tina and their family; and sister, Tina Fogle and husband Bruce and their family. Viewing will be Thursday, 11am-9pm and Friday, 8am-9pm at Mercer-Adams. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 19, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Frisco Cemetery.
