Rexanna H.
Murphy
Sep 27, 1953 — Apr 9, 2024
"We have lost part of our hearts because Rexanna Murphy, the heart and soul of our family, passed away surrounded by family on April 9th. Her favorite part of life was spending time with family and friends. You could not measure the love she had for all. She was the proud mom and nana of five kids, 17 grandkids, and two great-grandkids. She was loved by her husband Roger for over 52 years, her family includes Linda and Greg, Shawnnessy and Mike, Nathan and Jordan, Efterpi and Thomas, Seth who preceded her in death, Courtney, Annamarie, Anisa, Samantha, Jacob, Lexi, Aiden, Mia, Logan, Elijah, Jefferson, Johnathon, Ellie, Brianna, Foster, Bryce, Abbigail, Esther, Eden, and many friends she met along the way.
Rexanna was born in Illinois and this is where she fell in love with the love of her life Roger. They married in December of 1971 and began their journey as a family with Linda by their side. Their family continued to grow with the birth of Shawnnessy, Nathan, Efterpi, and Seth. They spread the gospel together in Illinois, Indiana, Texas, Maryland, Alabama, Florida, and Oklahoma. They settled in Oklahoma in 1996 and built a community of friends as they watched their family grow. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family; nothing blessed her more. She loved traveling with her husband, shopping with her friends, worshiping and serving at her church, playing card games, and spending time with her children and grandchildren playing games. She loved how loud they were when they played. She enjoyed a good murder mystery, watching YouTube videos with her husband, and loving every dog and cat over the years.
"You were my heart and soul, my best friend, my lover, my confidant, the one who kept me grounded thru all my ranting and raving, and the one who answered every question, knew how to do everything and always said it will be fine, we can do it no matter how negative I was. Soon sweetheart I will be seeing you in our Father's House. It will seem like just a moment before I leave this earth and wing my way to you." - Your husband and best friend, Roger
