Nola Ruth (Cinnamon) Sampson passed from this world on January 14, 2019 in her home surrounded by family. Services will be 10am, Friday, January 18 at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany. Viewing will be Thursday 9am-9pm with family present from 6-8pm. Nola was born on July 10, 1937 to William and Ruth (Horrell) Cinnamon in Camargo, OK. She married Jack Sampson on December 28, 1962 in OKC. She was a teacher for many years and an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene, serving in several churches in the Oklahoma City area. Nola was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters. She is survived by daughter, Rhonda (Steve) Swanson of Dumas, TX; son, Roger (Michelle) Sampson of Oklahoma City; 5 grandchildren, Jake Swanson of Kerrville, TX, Carmen (Nick) Highland of Grand Ledge, MI, Kayla (Levi) Stetler of Oklahoma City, Kristen (Christian) Thompson of Piedmont, OK, and Lauren Sampson of Oklahoma City; 5 great-grandchildren, Kade, Raelynn, Thea and Colette Highland, and Xander Swanson. Interment will be at Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens following the service. The family suggests giving for Nazarene Missions International as a memorial. Rev. Rhonda Swanson and Rev.
