Becky lost her battle to cancer on January 19, 2015. She was born in Danville, Illinois to Milburn and Lois Westmoreland on April 11, 1940. Her family moved to Bethany in 1945 where she graduated from Bethany High School in 1958. She attended Bethany Nazarene College and Pasadena College. She married Bob Ward in 1960. They raised their two children, Greg and Lesli, in Yukon, OK. After raising their children, Becky worked at Seagate for over 20 years and for the City of Yukon as Receptionist at Yukon Community Center and as Office Assistant in the Parks and Rec. Dept. After retiring in 2008, she volunteered generously at the Manna Pantry and Yukon Mobile Meals. She has been a member of the Bethany First Church of the Nazarene for 70 years, since 1945. Becky was very blessed with many wonderful friends who served as her support group. Becky is survived by a son, Greg Ward and wife Kathy of Tulsa; daughter, Lesli Ward Crawford of Yukon, OK; 4 grandchildren, Emily, Haley and Grant Ward, and Bodie Mankin; her brother, John Westmoreland and wife Edna of OKC; 2 nephews, Jeff Westmoreland and wife Susan of Tulsa, and K.P. Westmoreland and wife Susan of Bethany; and 6 great-nieces and nephews. Becky requested to be cremated and a Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, January 22 at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany.
