R.D. "Sam" Woodruff, 84, died August 17, 2014. He was born September 23, 1929 in Fay, OK to Albert and Nettie (Harden) Woodruff. Sam proudly served in the Army National Guard. He retired as a framing contractor and was a master carpenter. Sam was preceded in death by his parents, son, David Wayne Woodruff, and six siblings. Survivors include his wife, Frances; son, Tracey James Woodruff and wife Kimberly of OKC; 2 sisters, Martha Ketcher of San Jose, CA, Maxine Eberhardt, Tulsa, OK; and 2 grandchildren, Brittany Hudman and Brandi Woodruff.
