Obituary

Raymond Floyd Cox, 64, died October 30, 2008. He was born June 30, 1944 in Hobart, OK to Floyd and Minnie (Hoover) Cox. Raymond was a 15 year cancer survivor that struggled with many other health issues. He fought until his heart could just not take it anymore. He worked as a general contractor. Preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Troy and Charlie Cox. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Paulette; son Steven and wife Kristin and their daughters Sophie, Sydnie and Shalie Cox; daughter Misty Cox-Bringaze and husband Jason and their children Connor, Chace Bringaze and Rheagan Cox-Bringaze; sister-in-law Peggy Cox; 5 sisters-in-law and their husbands; 2 brothers-in-law and their wives; numerous nieces and nephews; and his very special Sissy. Raymond was Cupcake to his wife and Dad to his son, Daddy to his daughter, and Papa Ray to his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father, and a devoted friend to so many. He will live on through all of us that knew him. His memory will remain in the hearts of his friends and family forever. The family would like to thank you for your support. Memorial services will be Mon., Nov. 3, 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel. Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Heart Hospital.
