Ray W. Smith, 92, died May 7, 2011. He was born September 24, 1918 at home in Oklahoma City to William and Louise Frank Smith. He attended Central High School and was an Air Force Veteran in the Army Air Corp in WWII. He worked 39 years and retired from Carrier Factory Service. For over 65 years he was an active member of the Plumbing & Pipefitting Union Local 344. He was a member of Village Baptist Church. Raymond is survived by his wife of 69 years, June Comstock Smith; children, Ann Lawson of Oklahoma City, Mary Lou Kime and husband Wes of Colorado, and William Skip Smith and wife Susie, Missouri; sisters, Louise Wood of Yantis, Texas and Helen White, Clearwater, Florida; 5 grandchildren, Kelly, Dean, Kortney, Chris and Rebecca; and 13 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 11, 10:00am at Resurrection Cemetery.
