Ralph J. Loucks, Jr., 82, passed away March 7, 2012 while living at Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon, OK. He was born on March 17, 1929 in Enid, OK to Ralph and Helen Lena Loucks. He graduated from Enid High School in 1947 and joined the U.S. Navy in 1948, serving four years during the Korean Conflict. In 1958, Ralph married Kathleen Mondoux, the love of his life. It took a special man like Ralph, never married before, to marry a woman and help raise her four young children. Ralph worked for NCR Corp. as a service technician and retired after thirty-five plus years. In 1992, Ralph and Kathleen moved to Lake Tenkiller. They were truly happy living at the lake and enjoyed fishing and watching the wildlife. Due to health problems, in 2005 Ralph and Kay moved to El Reno, OK and lived with daughter, Diane and husband, Noah. In 2009, Ralph and Kay moved into Ranchwood Nursing Center, sharing a room until his death. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; son, Steven and wife Helen; daughter, Patricia McDonald; four sisters, Eva Lee Baltimore, Nadine Chapman, Bertha Thomas and Helen Fischer; as well as nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Ranchwood Nursing Center including Dr. Drew Cooper, Dr. Legg-Jack of the VA and Crossroads Hospice for the excellent care given to Ralph. A memorial service will be held at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany, OK, Saturday, March 17, 2012, at 2:00 p.m.
